Precast concrete, granite panels, aluminum and green glass curtain wali, ceramic-coated glass spandrels
The development is set in a rolling landscape adjacent to a forest preserve. The first phase of a three-phase project, the 13-story office building is designed to present two separate images. The formal east facade is clad in precast concrete and light gray granite panels with an aluminum and green glass curtain wali; the west side is characterized by a gently curving curtain wali of green tinted glass and bands of green ceramic-coated glass spandrels.
Typical office floors are 45,000 square feet each, with a sample room on each of the first two levels. The project incorporates executive offices and boardrooms on the top level. Other components indude a conference center; a corporate reception area with a 36-screen video display; a four-story atrium containing an indoor garden; employee dining in a separate one-story pavilion connected to the main building; and a six-level parking garage.
