89 TransAlp Manual Hydraulic Brake
Install the boot to the bracket.
Apply silicone grease to the caliper pivot bolt and install the caliper braket to the caliper.
(1) BRACKET
Install the pads, pad pins and retainer to the caliper.
Install the caliper assembly to the left fork so that the disc is positioned between the pads.
CAUTION
• Be careful not to damage the pads.
Apply silicone grease to the caliper bolt and temporarily install it.
Install and tighten the caliper bracket bolts.
TORQUE: 27 N-m (2.7 kg-m, 20 ft-lb)
Tighten the caliper bolt.
(11 BRACKET BOLTS
(4) CALIPER BOLT
(2) SEALING WASHERS
(3) BRAKE HOSE BOLT

TOROUE: 27 N-m (2.7 kg-m. 20 ft-lb)
Connect the brake hose to the caliper with the hose bolt and two new sealing washers.
TOROUE: 35 N-m (3.5 kg-m, 25 ft-lb)
Bleed the air from the brake system (page 1 5-3).
