HYDRAULIC BRAKE

<1) PAD PIN RETAINER BOLT^yy^, ip^piVOT

Place the pad pin retainer onto both the pad pins. Push the re-tainer down to secure the pins.

Install the pad pin retainer bolt.

Apply silicone grease to the caliper pivot bolt and insert it into the pivot hole of the caliper bracket.

(4) PAD PIN RETAINER

Place the caliper down so the brake disc is positioned between the pads, being careful not to damage the pads.

Apply silicone grease to the caliper bolt.

Install the caliper bolt and tighten it.

TORQUE: 27 N-m (2.7 kg-m, 20 ft-lb)

Tighten the retainer bolt securely.

Operate the brake lever to seat the pistons against the pads.

(2) CALIPER BOLT

DISC THICKNESS

Measure the thickness of the disc. SERYICE LIMIT: 3.5 mm (0.14 in)

BRAKE DISC WARPAGE

Measure the brake disc for warpage with a dial indicator as shown.

SERVICE LIMIT: 0.30 mm (0.012 in)
