The Avcngers wcrc formed by accident. LoKi.Asgardian God of Evil, wanted revenge on his half-brother Thor. After searching tor a mcnacc powerful enough to challengeThor, hc sclccted the Hulk and trickcd him into causing a train wreck. When the Hulks former partner Rick Jonls hcard this news, he attempted to alert the Fantastic Fotir, but Loki diverted his radio signal and sent it to Thor. Dut the thunder god wasn’t the only one to answer the cali.The astonishing Ant-Man (see Pym. Dr. Henry), the Wasp and Iron Man also responded. While the other heroes battled the Hulk.Thor tracked down Loki and captured him. After learning that the Hulk was innocent. Ant-Man suggested that the heroes form a team.The Wasp suggested they cali themsclves "something colorful and dramatic. like ...the Avcngers.”
