TROUBLESHOOTING

10.    Remove oil level gauge and check OIL LEVEL INCORRECT -oil level and for dirty oil

11.    Remove the valve adjusting cover VALVE TRAIN NOT -

•    Oil level too high

•    Clogged oil passage

•    Clogged oil control orifice

•    Contaminated oil Faulty oil pump


13. Accelerate or run at high speed ENGINE KNOCKS ENGINE DOES NOT KNOCK


•    Excessive carbon build-up in com-bustion chamber

•    Use of improper quality of fuel

•    Clutch slipping

•    Fuel air mixture too lean

•    Worn piston ring and cylinder

•    Fuel air mixture too lean

•    Use of improper grade of oil

•    Excessive carbon build-up in com-bustion chamber

•    Ignition timing too advanced (Faulty CDI unit)


POOR PERFORMANCE AT LOW AND IDLE SPEEDS

1.    Check ignition timing and valve INCORRECT-

•    Improper ignition timing (Faulty CDI unit and pulse generator)

•    Fuel air mixture too lean (To correct, screw out)

•    Fuel air mixture too rich (To correct, screw in)

•    Deteriorated insulator O-ring

•    Loose carburetor

•    Damaged insulator
