This report describes an excursion to the zoo, which was organized for Mr Stewart's Biology class . the excursion took place on Friday 17th October.

What exactly happened, what did you do, what did you see, np:
Arrival:
As soon as we arrived, a zoo official greeted us and led us to an amphitheatre where we were shown interesting slides of rare animals. Then she gave each of us a map of the zoo in case we got lost.
An under water world
Soon after we were taken to the aquarium, where we were shown many different species of fishes. Even though the sharks were very interesting, most of the classenjoyed seeing the piranhas being fed. Furthermore we were given the opportunity to touch the dolphins as well as/in feed them.
Strange Creatures
After we had lunch we were taken on a tour of the Reptile House. The reptiles varied in shapes and sizes but what really got our attention was a man who was extracting the venom from a snake.
Departure
Before we were taken back to our bus, we were given badges as souvenirs and were invited to visit the zoo again.
Conclusion
What is your opinion, what did/didn't you like, how did you feel?
In general it was a busy day, but in my opinion it was extremely interesting and useful. We all had the chance to learn a lot about many different kinds of animals.
