46 % Merino Wool extrafine, 28 Viscose (Bamboo pulp), 12% Cotton,
7% Baby Alpaca, 7% Super Kid Mohair, each ball = approx 100 m/ 50 g
600 (650/700) g in Color #01 natur (natural)

Knitting needles, sizes 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 12 mm (US 8, 10, 10 ½, 11, 15 and 17) from
Schoeller + Stahl

Rib Pat:
K2, P2 Rib with 5 mm (US 8) needles
Border Pat:
Garter st

Take time to check gauge! (Change needle size if necessary)
Basic Pat: (Gauge: 14 sts and 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4”)
St st with 6 mm (US 10) needles

Open Cast on:
This cast on begins with open sts, that is, there is no closed cast-on edge. The sts lay open, and are later picked up and worked
in the opposite direction.
With scrap yarn and crochet hook, chain the number of sts needed for the cast on. Cut scrap yarn. Insert knitting needle into the
under side of the ch, and pick up a st in each ch.

Full-Fashioned Double Decreases:
RH side: 1 selvage st, K1, sl 1 st to cn and hold to back of work, sl 1 st to a 2

Instructions:
Back:
With 6 mm (US 10) needles, cast on 66 (72/78) sts and P 1 row on WS. For the border work 5 rows in St st. On the 6th row (=
WS) K sts (= turning ridge) and cont in St st for 6 rows. Mark this row!
Cont in St st, and for the side shaping, after 6 cm/2 1/2” above marker, dec 1 st each side (inside of selvage st) on next row and
every 8th row 3 times more = 58 (64/70) sts.
Work 14 rows even. Then inc 1 st each side on next row and every 6th row 2 times more = 64 (70/76) sts.
After 36 cm/14” above marker, for the Armhole shaping, work Full-Fashioned double dec each side every 2nd row 4 (5/6) times =
48 (50/52) sts.
For the Shoulder shaping, after 54 (55/56) cm/21 ¼ (21 ½ /22)” above marker, bind off from each shoulder edge 4 sts 3 times (4
sts 2 times and 5 sts once / 5 sts 2 times and 4 sts once). Place rem 24 sts on a holder. Total length

63 (64/65) cm/24 3/4

(25/25 ½)”.
Left Front:
Using Open Cast-on Method, cast on 20 (23/26) sts with 6 mm (US 10) needles and work in
Basic Pat. For the Side shaping, on the 3rd row at RH side, dec 1 st (inside of selvage st)
and rep dec every 8th row 3 times. Work 14 rows even. Work incs, Armhole decs after 30
cm/12” from beg and Shoulder shaping after 38 cm/15” from beg at RH side same as Back.
At the same time, for the front curve, inc 1 st at LH side every 2nd row 13 times.
For the Neck shaping, after another 11 cm/4 ½”, work Full-Fashioned double dec at LH side
on next row and every 10th row 5 times more. Total length 51 (52/53) cm/20 (20 ½, 21)”.
Work Right Front to correspond, reversing all shaping.
Sleeves:
With 5 mm (US 8) needles, cast on 38 (42/46) sts and work in Rib Pat for 14 cm/5 ½”.
Change to 6 mm (US 10) needles and cont in Basic Pat, and for the Sleeve shaping, inc 1 st
each side every 16th row 3 times = 44 (48/52) sts.
After 32 cm/12 ½” above Rib, for the cap shaping, work Full-Fashioned double dec each side

every 2nd row once, every 4th row once, every 6th row 2 times , every 4th row 3 times and bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows
and 3 sts at beg of next 2 rows. After 62 cm/24 ½” from beg, bind off rem 6 (10/14) sts.

Finishing:
Block pieces to measurements. Sew shoulder seams. Set in sleeves. Sew side and sleeve seams. At the lower edge of Fronts,
unravel the chain cast on and place 20 (23/26) sts to 6 mm (US 10) needle, with same needle, along each front edge, pick up 100
(102/104) sts and work 24 sts from back holder = 264 (274/284) sts. Work 2 rows in garter st. Then with double strand and 7 mm
(US 10 ½) needles work 2 rows, 3 strands with 8 mm (US 11) needles work 2 rows, 5 strands with 10 mm (US 15) needles 2 rows
and 6 strands with 12 mm (US 17) needles 3 rows. Bind off all sts loosely.
Fold the lower border of back at marked turning ridge row to inside and sew in place and sew the back side seams of the ruffle.
