53% Wool, 47% Acrylic, each ball = approx 24 m/ 150 g
150 g color #05 blau (blue)
Circular needle, size 5 mm (US 8), 60 cm/24” long from Schoeller + Stahl
Pattern Stitch: with size 5 mm (US 8) needles
Worked in the round, each with 2 strands of the thinner section of the yarn
(of the ribbon).
Over an odd number of sts
Rnd 1 = Cast on: Cast on 2 strands 27 times onto the needle.
Rnd 2: * bring the entire strand to the back of the work and K1, bring the entire strand to the front of the work and P1; rep from *
around.
Rep rnd 2, creating a braided look.
Instructions:
Cast on 2 strands 27 times onto the needle and join to work in rnds. Work in Pat st until the ball is almost finished. For seaming,
leave enough yarn that measures once around the circumference + approx 10 cm/4”.
On the last rnd sew st for st with the working yarn as foll: Insert needle once into the st and pull the strand up to the thick portion
of the yarn between the last knit st and the sewn st. Pull the thread again through the same stitch and pull firmly to tighten then
drop from left needle. Cont in this way until all sts are sewn.
Finishing:
Pull the ribbon through the beg and end up to the knitting and insert once through all sts of the ribbon, then sew in the end of the
strand.
