CANYAS

♦    Cut the canvas and bind the edges - see page 138.

♦    Outline the design with a waterproof indelible marker. Spray paint the canvas ochrę (yellow brown).

FOLLOW1NG THE CHART

♦    The stitch chart shows the basie design and should be repeated as necessary.

♦    Begin in the bottom right-hand corner and establish the half diamond pattern. Then stitch the metallic thread and outline the entire diamond pattern, stitching one row at a time, from right to left when the center pattern is finished, stitch the side borders in vertical order of color.
