Byzantine is created from a curved row that mirrors itself, which then forms a series of circular medallions. The open spaces between these motifs become a secondary pattern of smali, curved diamond shapes. Here the mood of the composition contrasts intense greens, from soft green to turąuoise green to deep green, against warm red and cool blue medallions.

Just as green symbolizes space, freedom and the search for truth, so its complementary color red seeks activity and passion. Its opposite colors are blue, which brings serenity and peacefulness, and gold, which signifies wisdom and love. The interaction of these supportive colors creates an atmosphere of inviting warmth, tranquillity and resolution. Its combination broadens one’s horizons. Green comforts the healing heart, representing new beginnings after overcoming deep fears. Its overall vibration is forgiveness of self and others, helping to bring forth an optimistic view of life.

This classic patiem becomes elegant from combining threads of silk and gold. For a luxurious effect, care must be taken to ensure that the silk and gold threads are smooth and not twisted.
