Salt dough
340g (1207) plain flour 150g (6oz) salt
150ml (6fl oz or % cup) water You will need:
Drinking straw with a large hole Large leaf cutter Mediurn-size leaf cutter Cocktail stick
Strong wire, 100mm (4in), to make a hanging hook1*^^ Ribbon, 380mm (15in) \wL
Red, yellow, green and brown paints of your choice
Roli a thick ropę of dough about 90mm (3’/in) in diameter and 560mm (22in) long. Trim the two ends and join them together to make a circle. Flatten the circle with the palm of your hand.
Place the circle on a baking tray. Make two holes in the circle, one either side of the join.
Roli out a thin strand about lOOmm (4in) long. Wet the ends of the strand with water and wrap the strand around the garland tucking the ends around the back.
Continue rolling and wrapping thin strands around the garland until the surface s covered. Don't cover the holes at the top of the garland.
