Salt dough
50g (2oz) plain flour 25g (1oz) table salt 25ml (1 fl 07 or ^cup) water Break or cut off a walnut size piece of dough from the allowance. c/fow and wrap it in plastic wrap or ding film. ^ ' s?

You will need:
Hairpin cut to 25mm (1 in) ^
Cocktail stick
Light grey, black, yellow and blue paints
Roli a fat ropę 150mm (6in) long. Squee7e the ropę about 25mm (lin) from one end with your finger and thumb to make the taił.
Flatten the taił and make a 13mm (Hin) slit in the middle. Pmch each side ot the taił into a slight point and score some lines on each side of the taił with the knife.
Smooth and slightly bend the opposite end of the ropę to make the head. Roli a smali marble-size bail for the beak and join it to the face.
Shape the beak and smooth out the edges with a damp paint-brush. Make a smali slit around the beak with the knife.
Roli out the rest of the dough until it is quite thin. To make the waistcoat, cut two stnps, 13 x 38mm V/ x 1’/in). Cut the ends of the strips diagonally.
