Salt dough

100g (4oz) plain flour 50g (2oz) table salt 50ml (2fl oz or / cup) water You will need:

2 cocktail sticks 7 hairpins cut to 25mm (1 in) Garlic press Kitchen foil

25mm (lin) round cutter 38mm (1 /śin) round cutter Brightly coioured paints

Making the tractor

I Roli out the dough until it is about 13mm (J5in) thick. Cut a rectangle measuring 38 x 90mm {VA x 3’/in). Cut off a smali step to make the driver s seat.

Trim off the corners to make a tractor shape. Cut a curve at the top right corner. Cut a smali thin oblong shape and join it to the front of the tractor.

SCut out two tractor wheels using the large and smali cutters from the rolled out dough. Make some smali cuts with a knite on the sides of the wheels. Roli two smali balls of dough, flatten them and join them to the centre of the wheels. Roli five tiriy balls to make the wheel nuts.

CRoll out some morę dough and cut a rectangle measuring 38 x 64mm (1 'A x 2’4in) to make the trailer. Roli a 6mm (tfin) strip of dough and join it to the top of the trailer.

SRoll out some dough so that it is 6mm (!4in) thick and cut out two wheels for the trailer using the smali round cutter. Roli two smal balls, flatten them and join them to the centre of the wheels. Make a hole in the centre of the flattened smali balls with a cocktail stick.
