Salt dough
225g (807) plain flour 10Og (4oz) table salt 10Oml (4fl oz or Z cup) water You will need:
2 metres (approximately 2 yards) thin cord 32mm (iKin) round cutter 50mm (2in) round cutter Saucepan, which can go in the oven 4 cocktail sticks Smali hole drinking straw Garlic press Fast-setting glue 1 smali ring (brass or plastic)
A variety of shades of paint for decoration
Roli ten finger ropes of dough 100mm (4in) long and tnm the ends. Join the ropes together. Make a hole in the four corners of the finished parachute, 6mm (A\n) from the edges with the drinking straw.
Lay the saucepan on its side resting on the handle on a baking tray. Lightly grease the top of the saucepan. Lay the joined ropes on the curved edge of the pan.
Bakę at temperaturę 110°C (?20°F or Gas Mark '/*) for about four and a half hours.
