Salt dough

110g (4oz) plain flour 50g (2oz) table salt 50ml (2fl oz or / cup) water You will need:

Garlic press

Hairpin cut to 25mm (1 in)

510mm <20in) parcel string Cocktail stick

Scrap of fabric with a rough texture , red, orange. light brown and black paints

Roli two smali finger-sized ropes of dough to make the legs. Cut them to 38mm (1Jfin) long. Join them together on the inside at one end with a little water. Make surę that the legs are apart at the bottom.

Roli out some dough, about 13mm (Jjin) thick, and cut a rectangle, 25 x 38mm (1 x 1^in). Join the rectangle to the top of the legs. Make a vertical linę down the front of the body for the shirt. Make some buttonholes with a cocktail stick.
