Salt dough
100g (4oz) plain flour 50g (2oz) table salt 50ml (2fl 07 or A cup) water You will need:
Cocktail stick Red, white, black and dark green paints
Roli a smali finger ropę of dough 75mm (3in) long. Cut the ropę in half and shape the feet. Join the insidc of the ropes together to make the legs.
SRoll a large marble-size bali for the head. Make a nose from a tiny bali ot dough. Make the eyes using the point of a cocktail stick. Join the head to the body.
To make the body, roli a large marble-size bali of dough. Wet the top end of the legs and join it to the body.
To make the arms and hands, roli a finger ropę of dough 50mm (?in) long. Cut it in half and round off one end of each piece for the hands.
Roli a thin ropę and cut it in half to make the euffs. Wet either side of the body and top of the trousers and join the arms so that the hands rest on the legs.
To make a hat, roli a large marble-size bali of dough. Pinch the end. Put your finger into the opposite end of the bali making a well, and puli out the edge.
Make a beard and moustache from a thin ropę of dough and join them to the face. Make a hole for the mouth between the moustache and beard with the point of the cocktail stick. Rough up the surface of the beard and moustache with the end of the knife or cocktail stick to make them look fluffy.
