Buckwheat Granola
Yields 6 to 8 portions
2 cups sprouted buckwheat
½ cup pumpkin seeds, soaked 4 hours
½ cup sunf lower seeds, soaked 4 hours
1½ cups date paste
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins, soaked f or 30 minutes
2 apples, diced
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon salt
1. Pulse the buckwheat, pumpkin seeds and sunf lower seeds in a f ood processor, so they are just
slightly broken down.
2. Transf er to a large bowl and mix in the other ingredients by hand.
3. Sprinkle on to a non-stick dehydrator tray, dehydrating at 115° F f or 10 to 12 hours until completely
dry.
4. Serve with your f avourite nut milk and f resh f ruit.
